In May 2017, in collaboration with Valérie Nikoladze, a both amazing mosaic artist and person, we implemented «The Magic Carpet» communtity project.

More than sixty people (most of them migrants), coming from all around the world, have participated in the project, each one making their own mosaic square. Most of the squares narrate a personal story or wish, with all of them, combined together, creating a unique powerful symbol of memory and unity.

The Magic Carpet was installed on the external wall of the Municipality Theater of Mytilene in Lesvos Island, becoming a symbol of the ongoing Humanitarian Crisis that broke out in 2015, adorning the heart of the town until today.
